DAY 1 – HO CHI MINH CITY | FLIGHT TO PHU QUOC | VIETNAM ISLAND ARRIVAL
Fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc International Airport and transfer to your luxury 5-star beachfront resort. Check in to your pool villa and spend the remainder of the day as the island requires: horizontal and unhurried. Welcome dinner at the resort as the Gulf of Thailand turns gold. The Vietnamese chapter begins.
DAY 2 – PHU QUOC | RESORT & SPA | SUNSET AT PHU QUOC NIGHT MARKET
A full resort day — the pool, the beach, and the spa. Morning: a Vietnamese traditional healing spa treatment at the resort: herbal steam infused with lemongrass and kaffir lime, followed by a đá nóng hot stone massage using river basalt stones heated in the resort’s kitchen garden fire, and a 30-minute bấm huyệt pressure point facial. Afternoon at the beach. Early evening transfer to Phu Quoc Night Market: the island’s most celebrated open-air seafood market, its charcoal grills lined with tiger prawns, river crab, squid, and the catch of the afternoon, chosen by the group from the ice display and delivered to a plastic table in the salt air in minutes. The fish sauce that accompanies everything here — produced on the island from anchovy fermented in wooden barrels for 12 months — is the reason Phu Quoc fish sauce has a geographical indication certification from the European Union.
DAY 3 – PHU QUOC | AN THOI ARCHIPELAGO PRIVATE SPEEDBOAT
Full-day private speedboat excursion to the An Thoi Archipelago — fifteen islands at the southern tip of Phu Quoc in water of exceptional clarity. Three to four snorkel stops selected by the guide based on current visibility: coral gardens, a natural rock arch, and a sheltered beach on Hon Thom Island for lunch under a palm canopy — grilled tiger prawns, steamed clams with lemongrass, and fresh coconut. Return to Phu Quoc in the mid-afternoon. Sunset at the resort’s clifftop bar.
DAY 4 – PHU QUOC | SUNRISE KAYAK | PEPPER FARM | VINPEARL SAFARI
Rise early for a sunrise kayak through the mangrove forest in the island’s north before breakfast. Mid-morning: a guided visit to a Phu Quoc pepper farm — the island’s most celebrated agricultural product, its black pepper ranked among the world’s finest and recently awarded EU geographical indication protection. Afternoon: Vinpearl Safari — Southeast Asia’s largest open-air wildlife conservation park, toured by open-top vehicle with naturalist guide. Return to the resort for the final Vietnamese sunset and a private dinner on the beach: a table at the waterline, lit by candles and decorated with frangipani by the resort team, the chef preparing a seafood menu using the island’s best ingredients. The last night on Phu Quoc.
DAY 5 – PHU QUOC TO BANGKOK | LAYOVER HIGHLIGHTS | ONWARD TO PHUKET
Fly from Phu Quoc to Bangkok — one leg, typically via Ho Chi Minh City or direct on certain carriers. Bangkok layover of 3–5 hours depending on connection: a private vehicle and guide meet the group at Suvarnabhumi for an express city loop — the Grand Palace exterior, the Chao Phraya River from the Taksin Bridge, lunch at a river restaurant in the Riverside district, and a final drive through the colonial-era quarter of Rattanakosin before returning to the airport for the afternoon flight to Phuket. The Bangkok loop is not a comprehensive city visit; it is a glimpse, an orientation, and a lunch above the river. It serves the itinerary by preventing the Phuket chapter from beginning with an exhausted airport-to-resort transfer.
Arrive in Phuket in the late afternoon and transfer to your luxury west coast resort. Check in to your pool villa as the Andaman Sea catches the last light of the day. Dinner at the resort. The Thai chapter begins.
DAY 6 – PHUKET | PHANG NGA BAY PRIVATE SPEEDBOAT
Depart Phuket by private speedboat from Ao Po Grand Marina for Phang Nga Bay — 400 square kilometres of protected marine park in which limestone karst towers rise from calm tidal water. The day covers the bay’s defining experiences: Panyee floating Muslim village, James Bond Island from the water, and sea cave canoe excursions through the coastal caves into hidden lagoons. Lunch on board. Return to the resort in the mid-afternoon. First Phuket sunset from the resort’s west-facing terrace.
DAY 7 – PHUKET | PHI PHI ISLANDS PRIVATE SPEEDBOAT
Full-day private speedboat to the Phi Phi Islands: Maya Bay viewing by electric boat, Pileh Lagoon snorkelling, Viking Cave, and Long Beach lunch. The same excursion as Tour 4, Day 3 — the Phi Phi day is the best single day available from Phuket and is included in this combined itinerary without abbreviation. Return to Phuket in the late afternoon. Dinner in Phuket Old Town: a heritage shophouse restaurant on Thalang Road, massaman curry and khao yam herb rice salad.
DAY 8 – PHUKET | THAI SPA DAY & KATA NOI BEACH
Full spa day at the Phuket resort: a Thai herbal compress massage, an Andaman sea salt body scrub, and a 60-minute reflexology session. The contrast with the Vietnamese spa treatment on Day 2 — different ingredients, different pressure techniques, different philosophy — is one of the quiet pleasures of a dual-country itinerary. Afternoon: Kata Noi Beach, the most beautiful small beach on Phuket. Seafood lunch on the headland. Return to the resort by 4:00 PM.
DAY 9 – PHUKET | OLD TOWN MORNING & PRIVATE FAREWELL BEACH DINNER
A final active morning: Phuket Old Town heritage walk with a local specialist through the Sino-Portuguese shophouse district — Thalang Road, Dibuk Road, Soi Rommanee — and coffee at the Kopitiam in its century-old shophouse. Return to the resort for a long, unhurried afternoon: the last pool day, the last Andaman Sea afternoon, the last west coast sunset in the place where Andaman sunsets are what they are because of the geography of the sea and the altitude of the horizon. Sun DMC arranges the farewell dinner: a private table on the beach, set by the resort, with a dedicated chef, the full seafood menu, and the sound of the Andaman in the background. The best dinner of the trip, eaten at the end of ten days that have delivered two of Southeast Asia’s finest island destinations in a single, seamless arc.
DAY 10 – PHUKET | DEPARTURE
Transfer to Phuket International Airport for your international departure — direct connections to Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Dubai, London, and selected European hubs.
