DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN HANOI | WELCOME TO THE THOUSAND-YEAR CAPITAL
Land at Noi Bai International Airport and transfer by private car to your hotel in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter or French Quarter. The afternoon is unhurried: a first walk around Hoan Kiem Lake as the city comes alive in the early evening. Meet your golf concierge for a welcome briefing over dinner at a rooftop restaurant above the Old Quarter — pho broth simmered since before dawn, cha ca La Vong turmeric-grilled fish with dill, and bun cha grilled pork over rice noodles with a cold Ha Noi beer.
DAY 2 – HANOI | ROUND 1 AT BRG KINGS ISLAND GOLF RESORT
An early morning transfer to BRG Kings Island Golf Resort — approximately 45 minutes west of central Hanoi, set on a dramatic peninsula where Dong Mo Lake and Suoi Hai Reservoir converge in a landscape of still water, forested hills, and morning mist. The resort’s two 18-hole courses offer contrasting challenges: the Lakeside Course winds gracefully along the water’s edge, while the Mountainside Course climbs through forested terrain with elevation changes. Return to Hanoi in the early afternoon for a guided cyclo ride through the Old Quarter’s narrow lanes and a visit to the Temple of Literature.
DAY 3 – HANOI | ROUND 2 AT CHI LINH STAR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Drive northeast of Hanoi to Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club — one of the most visually striking courses in northern Vietnam, set in forested hills above a vast reservoir. The layout rewards intelligent course management: undulating fairways cut through mature woodland, natural water features appear at critical moments, and the greens are consistently fast and well-protected. After your round, return to Hanoi for an afternoon at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. A traditional northern hot pot dinner in the evening.
DAY 4 – HANOI TO HA LONG BAY | OVERNIGHT BOUTIQUE CRUISE
A leisurely morning in Hanoi before the mid-morning shuttle transfer east toward Ha Long Bay. Board your boutique cruise at the harbour — a traditionally styled wooden vessel with comfortable en-suite cabins, a sun deck, and a dining room that will serve some of the freshest seafood of the entire trip. Kayak through a hidden cave system, swim in water the color of jade, or simply sit on the sun deck as the karsts change color in the late afternoon light. A seafood dinner on board followed by a night sleeping on the water in near-complete silence.
DAY 5 – HA LONG BAY | SUNRISE & RETURN TO HANOI | ROUND 3 AT VAN TRI GOLF CLUB
Rise before dawn for a quiet hour on the sun deck as the bay emerges from the mist. Tai Chi on deck as the light strengthens, brunch served on board during the return sail. Return to Hanoi by early afternoon. After a brief rest and club pickup, transfer to Van Tri Golf Club — a well-maintained 18-hole layout on the northern outskirts of Hanoi, popular with both resident golfers and visiting groups for its reliable course conditions and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner at a French-Vietnamese bistro in the French Quarter.
DAY 6 – HANOI | ROUND 4 AT BRG LEGEND HILL GOLF RESORT & STREET FOOD FAREWELL
The final round of the tour at BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort — an 18-hole championship course set across rolling countryside northwest of Hanoi. The course features wide bentgrass fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and a finishing stretch that demands full concentration. Return to Hanoi in the early afternoon for a guided street food walk through the Old Quarter with a local food specialist: banh cuon steamed rice rolls, nem cua be deep-fried crab spring rolls, and the egg coffee that Hanoi invented and no other city has convincingly replicated. A farewell golf dinner at one of Hanoi’s celebrated fine dining restaurants closes the week.
