DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN PHNOM PENH | MEKONG WELCOME

Land at Phnom Penh International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. Cambodia’s capital sits at the confluence of the Mekong, the Bassac, and the Tonle Sap rivers. An early evening walk along the Sisowath Quay riverfront promenade sets the tone. Meet your golf concierge for a welcome briefing over dinner at a riverside Khmer restaurant: amok trey — Cambodia’s signature fish curry steamed in coconut milk and banana leaf — lok lak wok-tossed beef with lime pepper sauce, and fresh palm sugar desserts.

DAY 2 – PHNOM PENH | ROUND 1 AT VATTANAC GOLF RESORT (EAST COURSE)

An early morning transfer to Vattanac Golf Resort on the outskirts of Phnom Penh — two 18-hole courses both designed by Nick Faldo. The East Course is the more technically demanding: a par-72 layout that rewards course management and precise iron play. After your round, the afternoon is devoted to Phnom Penh’s most significant sites: the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda with its floor tiled with over 5,000 silver blocks, and the National Museum, home to the world’s finest collection of Khmer sculpture.

DAY 3 – PHNOM PENH | ROUND 2 AT VATTANAC GOLF RESORT (WEST COURSE) & TUOL SLENG

Morning round on the West Course at Vattanac — a contrasting layout, more open in character with a links-influenced design. After your round, the afternoon carries a different weight: a visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum — the former S-21 detention centre — is sobering, necessary, and unforgettable. Most visitors leave in reflective silence. The evening offers a gentle contrast: a sunset boat ride on the Tonle Sap River, watching the city’s golden stupas catch the last light before dinner at a rooftop restaurant.

DAY 4 – PHNOM PENH TO SIEM REAP | ARRIVAL & ANGKOR ORIENTATION

Fly to Siem Reap — gateway to the greatest concentration of ancient temples on earth. Check in to your boutique hotel in the heart of Siem Reap’s Old French Quarter. The afternoon is deliberately unhurried. In the evening, join a private guided orientation of the Angkor Archaeological Park as the sun sets over the outer temple complex — a first glimpse of what awaits at dawn. Dinner at a Khmer fine dining restaurant featuring traditional royal court cuisine.

DAY 5 – SIEM REAP | ANGKOR WAT SUNRISE & ROUND 3 AT ANGKOR GOLF RESORT

A 4:45 AM departure for the most iconic sunrise in Southeast Asia. Angkor Wat — the largest religious monument ever constructed — reveals itself slowly in the pre-dawn dark, its five towers rising against a sky that shifts from deep violet to coral to gold. Return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest before transferring to Angkor Golf Resort for a mid-morning tee time — a Nick Faldo design threading between ancient Khmer ruins and dense tropical jungle within the Archaeological Park itself. Playing golf here is not simply a round — it is a conversation between sport and civilization that exists nowhere else in the world. The afternoon brings a guided temple tour: Ta Prohm, Bayon, and the Terrace of the Elephants.

DAY 6 – SIEM REAP | ROUND 4 AT PHOKEETHRA COUNTRY CLUB & TONLE SAP LAKE

Morning round at Phokeethra Country Club — a well-regarded 18-hole course within the Sokha Angkor Resort complex. Manicured fairways, excellent course conditions, and a well-staffed clubhouse make it a reliable favourite among visiting golf groups. After lunch, transfer to Chong Khneas floating village on the shores of Tonle Sap Lake — the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Board a local wooden boat for a late afternoon cruise past floating schools, stilted pagodas, and communities of fishermen who have lived entirely on water for generations. Return to Siem Reap for a farewell dinner.

DAY 7 – SIEM REAP | BANTEAY SREI & FREE AFTERNOON

The final full day begins with a morning excursion to Banteay Srei — the smallest and, many argue, the most exquisite temple in the Angkor complex. Built from pink sandstone and covered in a density of decorative carving — celestial dancers, mythological scenes, intricate floral patterns — that no other temple in Cambodia matches. Return to Siem Reap for a long, free afternoon: the Old Market, the tailors along Pub Street, or simply a quiet garden and something cold. A final dinner before an early night ahead of tomorrow’s departure.

DAY 8 – SIEM REAP | DEPARTURE

Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your onward flight. Optional extension: 2 nights on the coast at Kep or Kampot — Cambodia’s quiet southern seaside towns of pepper farms, colonial architecture, and fresh crab from the Gulf of Thailand.
